After a whole lot of textbook reading for school, this was a very nice [short] book to read. But it left me with a whole lot of thinking about life and how I conduct my up-bringing of my three children.
If you get the messages that the book is telling you, which I feel are at least two; the book will leave you very fulfilled.
I recomend reading it for any age!

Good one!

you need to seek out <a href="http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-2598363071375453449&q=Brainman&total=22&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0" rel="nofollow">the documentary</a> too. It illustrates what exactly what Daniel see's in his mind... the book explanation isn't anywhere near as good.

I've been meaning to read this book for ages, the subject matter fascinates me. It came to the fore again recently when my partner (who gained her doctorate in Mathematics and Physics) confessed she "saw" the colours in her numerical calculations.
But as I can't add higher than £4.99, I'll be waiting for it to drop into the sale sections!

no probs, if you like jpod, you'll probably like my other recommendations... if you care about formating that is, cross check this place with amazon reviews and you'll get a pretty good idea what you're expecting to receive in the post.

jpod for me, blinks on the coffee table, like an annoying fluro tube in the office about to die. Its constantly in my vision and attention seeking antics will inevitably result in me giving in. Until then, its just a fat book. one day tho. one day.

Me again!

Just bought this book and I'm already half way through it. Great book, similar to what i do (guess i can relate to it). Just wish i had more time during the day to read it.

Again, great recommendation =)

yes I've seen that.... didn't rate it much tho. Its probably a great read, but not very well formatted, otherwise I would have added it here. Will make a note to have a second look at it.

Haha, indeed. Well, I'll pass it around.
Would also recommend Digging to America by Anna Taylor.

Just got this book yesterday. Read half way through it and must admit even though its your typical boy falls in love with girl, I do enjoy it. I guess it's falling love in modern day and yes I would agree that the unusual layout of the book is most interesting.

keep up the good work!

Just bought Jpod on your recommendation. Better be a good read :p
